I have recently purchased a NAS Landrive and I am having an issue connecting to it via my main Mac Pro.
The Landrive is hard-wired to a Netgear DG834PN via one of the ethernet ports. When I try to connect to the drive using SMB from my main Mac, which is also hard-wired to the same router, I just get the 'connecting to...' dialog box and nothing happens.
If I connect using my powerbook. connected to the router wirelessly, I get the 'Select to SMB/CIFS...' dialog box immediately.
I am not network savvy, so this has me really stumped!
Any ideas where I should be looking?
