My name is on the two Mars rovers still working, the Phoenix Lander, my SIGNATURE is scanned and on a DVD on Cassini orbiting Saturn and Huygens sat on Titan. My name also has been to the moon, to a distant comet etc etc

Kind of nice to know that when the Alien invasion comes...they'll 'do' me first

That's pretty cool! But I don't see the point of having your name on a chip! Is it just for history?

It doesn't serve any real purpose - it's just a nice thing to say 'my name is going to Mars'

Makes people feel a part of the adventure.
