I know in the last patch they addressed this issue but I'm still getting this nasty echo when I speak whether it's using the headphones provided with the iPhone or just with the phone against my face. I know some people resolved the issue when it would occur by turning on speaker and back off, switching between headphones to using the phone against the face, etc. These temporary fixes no longer work for me anymore.

Anyone else have this issue or suggest a good fix?

Restore to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup.

If that doesn't work, then you likely have faulty hardware and should contact the appropriate Apple Customer Service, whether that is at one of their retail locations or via telephone.

If this happens often to 100% of the time then I see no problem with them giving you a replacement phone.

Yeah doing the restore tonight since I'm on calls all day I don't want to risk missing something. It happens about 90% of the time but still needs replaced if the restore doesn't fix it.
