I’ve always been a bit paranoid of purchasing things online because I’m afraid of my identity being stolen. Recently, I was watching the news about an employee at a gas station stealing the credit card numbers of customers. It was then that it occurred to me that your identity can be stolen a number of different ways. I thought about ways I could protect myself from it ever happening to me.

I did some research online and found a few tips. The most helpful though, was the free Identity Theft Prevention Brochure I sent away for from the National Income Life Insurance Company. I found it very informative and helpful with plenty of ways to avoid having your identity stolen. I’d recommend everyone get one of these brochures, especially since it’s free.
