So it's like Google Glass for your windshield? No thanks. I like having a completely clear windshield with nothing else on it. Would prefer not clog it up with my friends faces or graphics. I'll wait til this bit of technology is forced on me.

I mainly like this because HUD's from car manufacturer's are grossly overpriced, so this may offer some competition and innovation for better pricing.

I can't imagine the DOT not having a say in this. Is it DOT approved?

I would not want any text messages or the like on my windshield, but only useful driving info. I'll wait until they have something that highlights pedestrians, cyclists, etc at night like BMW is working on.

DOT doesn't approve GPS mounts yet. I tried a hud setup before, but it didn't work due to the way the glass was designed. The image showed twice so it couldn't be see. Be prepared to return if need be.

Disregard...this isn't the type of hud I tried...it projects onto its own glass, not the windshield. That first picture is deceptive.
