navigation night mode?

Despite the iOS 6 Maps issues being discussed everywhere, the voice navigation works really well. Siri is not at chatty as the Waze voice, which is nice. But, how do I enable night mode on the display??? Every other GPS app I've used turns the screen dark at night, but Maps lights up the whole car!

Any ideas?

Seriously, I don't think they thought of that. Based on other threads anyway.

Excellent idea! Hopefully Apple decides to add the feature in the future. However, in the meantime, you could try putting it to lock mode and brightness can be automatically adjusted.
