Navigon crashed JB iPhone now won't restore!

Ok as above, was driving this afternoon...Navigon was running..then it lost GPS signal, then rebooted into DFU mode. Attempted a restore to standard brand new iphone software

It installs the software, does the firmware...gets to the end of the firmware...but refuses to complete the firmware. Starts again....any ideas?

Oh it dumps out with a 2001 error, on both my macbook pro and mac mini.

update : it kicks out with 1002

i think whats happening is its getting stuck at the end of the firmware update then after 15 the 15 minutes is up...rebooting again.

Is this a legit copy ?
Cause my "purchased" Navigon runs fine on my iPhone4 under 4.2.1
