NBA playoffs 2009

Who does everyone like to make the Finals? I think my Lakers will only be seriously tested by Portland. (In fact, it worries me a bit.) Everybody seems to want to see Cavs. vs. Celtics in the East finals. Miami and Portland are potential sleeper picks.

I like Lakers over Cavaliers, 4-2.

Anyone else?

Being from Portland and a Blazers fan I would love to see them in the Finals. Beating Houston with home court will happen. But, LA will be tricky and ultimately move on.

With KG back the Celtics will beat the Cavs again and move on.

Finals pick I'm going Celtics over Lakers 4-3.

I think they still could make it to the East finals without KG. But no way do that beat Lebron without him. Impossible.

However, the lakers are going to be tough.

It was nice to see last night, even without Cleveland's 4 best players, they managed to put up a good fight vs the 76ers. Yeah, they lost, but it was nice to see it was in ot and by 1 point.

I'm pulling for the cavs over the lakers 4-2.

Side note-
I like to see the cavs are having fun with the game. I believe that because they are having fun, they are doing so well. If they keep it up through the Playoffs, they have a VERY good chance. Of course with a few record breaking performances by LBJ

Well excluding the last loss to Philly, where no starters were really playing anyway, they only lost 1 at home. They have home court advantage for all, or most, of the playoffs. I'd say they'll be fine, even against the elite teams.

I'd complain about how much my Jazz have stunk down the home stretch, but that would require a whole other thread. As for the finals, my pick is LA vs. Cavs, with the Cavs emerging victorious. LA is too much of a stacked deck for them not to make it out of the West.

Obviously, I'm a big Heat fan. If they don't win it all, then I'll root for the Magic. If not the Magic, then the Lakers. If not the Lakers, then ANY-*****-BODY except the cavs
