Hello,

I'm using iPad 2 (iOS 4.3.3)

So I downloaded NBA.TV app from the UK app store and it installed correctly. However when I try to watch the games I get a "Geo Checking" message and then error: "You are in a blackout area and cannot view the game from this location"

-I have tried LocationSpoofer and it worked for one hour and then stopped.
-Tried again and didn't work. Used FakeLocation but that didn't work
-Using a VPN for UK but thats not working
-LocationHolic isn't going either

Can anyone suggest what I can do to watch the games on the iPad without the Blackout BS?

Thanks!

having the same problem too.
But I do live in SF, and I want to watch warriors games.
I tried fakelocation, locationholic, location spoofer, none of those work.
I wonder does anyone know how to hack the blackout, I mean i am willing to pay the NBA league pass, but I want to watch my local team on iphone too

This states that the app uses your public IP to determine your location. Try to use another device as a VPN client and tether that to your iPad. I've been able to use pdanet on my iPhone, connected to wifi, to act as a VPN router, broadcasting a wireless signal while connected to wireless. I didn't test with league pass because my trial has expired, but it works for the TWCable tv app. I would give that a shot..
