ne1 having Safari issues with iPhone 3G & 3.0?

Man, safari is slow as hell when in the "tabbed" view. Pages slide choppily and sometimes it takes 15+ seconds for the page to delete after hitting the red x and then it will take 5+ secs for the next page to fill the screen....and sometimes Safari crashes when doing this.

Kind of have the same experience, I find Safari to render pages slowly and as you say it closes tab slow, I have thought about trying a restore, but if it's a common thing then there's no need.
