I've relocated my Xserve RAID into an Xrack Pro cabinet and now it's on the other side of the room relative to the Mac Pro so I need 10 meter fibre channel cables to connect them.

I'm totally a newbie on the different types of fibre channel cables but I believe it uses SFP connectors on both ends (the longer ones).

Any recommendations of where to source these without breaking the bank?

I've Googled for 10m cables and come across prices ranging from a $100 each to $350 each (Cables.com); these have integrated SFP connectors. I definitely want to avoid paying $700 for pair if at all possible.

Or could I got with the cheap fibre channel cables on Amazon that appear to have bare optical ends, and pair them with SFP transceivers?
