Not sure what section this should be in, but it seems to fit.

My portable hard drive just failed (well, it MIGHT have fallen out of a half zippered backpack when I got out of the car) and it's clicking like no tomorrow. It was on it's way out (damn thing was louder every day), so I'm in the market for a replacement.

Anyone know where I could find a decent quality, internal 2.5" drive? I've been checking out the usual suspects but thought someone here might have an idea of where to go.

Thanks!

zipzoomfly or newegg.com generally have the lowest prices. But if you want to support smaller indepedent Mac vendors, try OtherWorldComputing (www.macsales.com) or Smalldog. Newegg is closest to Phoenix, so other than a local dealer in your area, they will probably get it shipped to you fastest.
