Need 27" Glossy Monitor recommendations

I love my iMac 27" glossy screen and would like something similar for my Mac Pro.
Currently have a Samsung LED 23" matte (had the apple AI 23" before) but can't stand using it after looking at the iMac.

I know about the Apple's new 27" monitor but would like to spend less than $1,000. Besides not sure if the new monitors are only compatible with the macbooks or will work with Mac Pros with an adaptor.

Anything out for me to look at?

The ACD will work with a MP. The adapter you'll need depends on the inputs on your graphics card. I don't know of any other glossy 27" monitors. I actually can't find any for less than $1000. HP offers one, but the resolution is only 1920x1080 so I think it would look much, much worse than the ACD. Dell's is actually more expensive as is NEC's offering. Both are matte.
