Hi all, maybe you can offer some software suggestions here. I'd like a small, easy-to-use calendar similar to iCal to remind myself of homework assignments and due dates. I'll be using this extra calendar only for these purposes. (I would use iCal, but I already use it for too many things. It's really out of control.)

My first stop was @ VersionTracker, of course, and I found "Assignment Planner." This is just the sort of thing I'm looking for, but unfortunately this is still in development (I encountered a few major usability issues).

So, does anyone know of a lightweight calendaring program for OS X? I'm not too picky ... I'd prefer something with reminders, but I can live without that.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for software you may know of. Thanks. :)

Really, you might be happiest keeping iCal headed on the road to ruin.

Chandler looks like it's going to be promising, but it will be another year or so before it's in usable shape.

Thanks for the tip, iMeowbot.

I decided to do the following ...

* Make a calendar in iCal for each of three classes
* Put relevant due dates / test dates in the calendar relating to each class
* Use Stattoo to display the calendars of all classes on the desktop

Not perfect, but it'll do ;)
