I'm searching for a compact/slim case (not sleeve) for my 15.4" MBP. I'm only 5' tall, and I'm finding that most of the bags I've been checking out are sized for larger (well, probably average!) people. I tried the Timbuk2 Commute slim, which is the smallest of their lot, and I felt like I was carrying a suitcase around with me.

Help from smaller folks would be appreciated!

I would like a vertical messenger or sling. I usually carry the MBP, a letter-sized spiral notebook, a couple of file folders, the power brick, a full-sized mouse, my wallet, iTouch, and a pen, so I need a little extra room, but not a lot.

I'm liking the following, but would be interested in experience from people who've used them or any other suggestions:

Be.ez LEvertigo http://www.be-ez.com/prod_levertigoE.html

Thanks!

I don't have a carrying case for my MB yet, I just have a soft case that I use it to protect it when I through it in my backpack. However, I think I like the Be.ez LEvertigo the most out of the ones you've listed and since I'm home for break right now I think I'll have to go see if I can check one out, so thanks for the heads up :D

That's a pretty big bag! Average girls range from 5 foot to over 6 foot!

:D

uhh, average girls have only one height, because they are the average height. I believe thats about 5,4 in the states.

this is kind of neat:

haha, good one Mindflux. don't worry, good humor is not lost on all of us. :D

anyway, i am using my own bag and a sleeve. however, the be.ez LEvertigo looks like exactly what you need glowgirl. if i didn't already have a sleeve, i think i would go for that bag too. nice find!
