I just got a new M1 iMac and I'd like to get an external monitor for it. I have an old HD monitor I'm using, but the colors really don't match the mac at all, so I'm looking for something more modern. And maybe with a white bezel around it to match if such a thing exists. I don't need a huge monitor, I think 23" would be fine. Maybe one that I can spin around the mount vertically might be good too, if that can be done without a monitor arm.

Any recommendations? Or at least anyone know of any generally good brands to go with these days?

Here's a list of IPS displays that might be of use to you:

Just wondering (re the color issue):
Have you tried re-calibrating the display you have now, to see if you can "tweak" the colors?

You should use the "expert" mode:
- open displays pref pane
- click "color" tab
- HOLD DOWN THE OPTION KEY and click "calibrate"

More than one "run through" might be needed.
You might have to adjust gamma and color temp to your liking "by eye".

Yeah I've been fiddling with the color settings a lot. I got it to an OK level, but it's still not right. It's a really old HD monitor, from back when HD monitors were new and cool. I'd like to replace it with something with something more modern, maybe one that I can spin around have it be vertical instead of horizontal might be cool too.
