My friend uses a Razer Deathadder with his macbook and he says it works good. His budget was less than yours though. Heres other mac compatible razer mice

I use Razer Naga MMO. I like the numberpad incorporated on the side but it might be overkill depending on the games you play. I don't believe the Epic version does anything except add wireless feature which I neither need nor trust for gaming.
