Need a little dvd burning help....

I have handbrake and LOVE it, but now that I have the movies on the hard drive, I want them back off so that I can watch them on my DVD player. I bought popcorn 3 form best buy for 50 bucks, but I found it on amazon for 30 so I am taking it back today so I can save the cash My question is, is there a better or free program I can download (like I did handbrake) that would work as good or better?
