need a new monitor(s)

I need a new monitor for High end desktop/workstation system. The choice is between a 30" display or 2 24" displays. Practically the same price (each choice is about a $1500 purchase, but the 2 24"s will require another $150 video card). Downside of the Apple's 24" LED display is that they have a glossy screen. I know these are all the rage in the widows laptop world, but I have never liked them much. Downside of the 30" Apple display is that it is a 4 year old design, and updates are probably imminent, also it has less total screen real-estate than 2 24"s. Upside of the 30", non glossy finish, and it is huge...

Thoughts?

I would get two Dells. Apple Monitors well they look significantly better, are overpriced.

Out of those two, I would go for the 2 x 24" ACD's. Although they have glossy screens (which I actually like), they have far more vivid colours. And as you say, you will get more screen real estate for your money.
