Need a new Printer

After finding out that my Lexmark x2350 is not compatible with my iMac or OSX i have decided it must go and that i will need something to replace it. I’m looking for a few different things really,

1). Must be reasonably priced,
2). Have the ability to scan documents,
3). Be ok for Photography printing,
4). Have good ink consumption
5). Use cartridges that i can actually find in local shops (Tesco)

Oh and I’m from the UK if that makes much of a difference.

Canon printers and especially All-in-one's are the only way to go. They also have cheaper ink than any of the other brands and you can buy only the colors you need. I have a Pixma MP830 and love it.

I have a HP PSC 1315v, scans, prints, etc and it works great with any os, I like it because I can get very cheap printer ink on PrinterInkPrices.com.

I guess it really depends on what you want to do with the printer, more print quality = more money.
