Hi everyone, I have got inspirations from reading Shakespeare’s poetry and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle works and have some poems that I have written. There are many platforms on which I could place my poems but I want some suggestions from you people to help me know the places to present my poems.

A quick google of "Poetry Community" got me the following results....

http://allpoetry.com/
http://www.thepoetsanctuary.net/
http://www.esnips.com/community/poetry
http://www.paintedperfectly.com/
http://www.writers-network.com/

Or if you feel like it you could set up your own site, a blogging engine like Wordpress might be the easiest solution. There are web hosting providers that will even install it for you or have a web interface that can install it in a few clicks.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question, it's a bit vague.

Poetry.com is pretty lame, imo. I wouldn't it there. There's now way to bookmark your poems if someone wants to come back and read it later - they have search for your stuff fresh every time.

When you get it posted you'll have to let us know so we can check it out!
