Need a step by step guide to hosting a basic 8 slot ventrilo server on a Mac.

I tried doing this today, but I can't get anyone else inside the server. I had everything portforwarded, etc. so....

Can I get a tried and true step by step guide that a 10 year old can understand?

Also, if possible, are there any ways to expand the server size like you can with server client hacks found in Windows iterations?
