Bought a Spigen tough armour case which fitted the phone quite nicely but then I bought a tech21 impact mesh. That case is ok but it isn't raised enough around the screen area. The last time I cracked my phone screen it was from dropping the phone literally screen down so I need something with a well raised area around the screen.

The tough armor case does have a large lip. It is the iPhone 5 version I am talking about.
Maybe this case will help you drop it less because if its very grippy back. It also has very good protection:

I've got two tough cases. Spigen tough armor and also casemate tough naked.

Slightly better/bigger lip onscreen on the spigen. Both very good cases though!
