So I have an iPhone 4, an iPad 3G and a MacBook Pro. At home I often sync my iOS devices with the MacBook and so I always have recent backups at hand if I need them.
A week from now I'm going on 10 week trip around India and since I don't wanna lug my MacBook around I was planning on only bringing my iPhone and my iPad.
When iOS 4.3 is released, can I use any other computer (Mac or PC) with iTunes to update my devices or will I lose some data since I am not using my home computer? I cant remember if data is usually synced back from the computer when doing these incremental updates. But it would be very convenient to have the Personal Hotspot feature on my iPhone during this trip.
