Hi guys.
So I spilled coffee on my beloved 13" Macbook Air =(
After turning it upside down and drying it out for a day on a paper towel, drying with cool air using a hairdryer I tried to see if it works (I know. bad choice) and it was working, although very sluggishly and with the fan blasting although nothing was open.
So the same day I took it to a technician to clean it with anti-corrosion liquid and when it came back it was working amazingly well.
The problem is - the keyboard and trackpad aren't working. Nothing. No backlight from the keyboard, none of the keys is working, nothing.
I ran apple diagnosis - it found nothing wrong.
I checked the system information - nothing out of the ordinary.
The guy I took it for cleaning told me he tried connecting a different keyboard and it wasn't working either.
So, is there any chance he missed something and my keyboard/trackpad might be saved?
(I didn't take it to apple cuz I live outside the US and we don't have an official apple store here, just some crappy reseller that ships macs to the US for repair for enormous amounts of money)
I'm not too hopeful and already looking for a new mac but I would rather not spend over 1000$ right now...
Thanks in advance.
