I'm interested in these two refurbished MBP models (by the way, these are canadian dollars)

A) $2199 (link)
15.4-inch MBP 2.7GHz Quad-core Intel i7 with Retina Display
512GB Flash Storage
16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM

B) $1939 (link)
15.4-inch MBP 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel i7 with Retina Display
512GB Flash Storage
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM

The only differences being 2.7 vs 2.6GHz and 16GB vs 8GB RAM. Is it worth paying an extra $260 for the better model? :apple:

On the newer laptops I would always go with the maxed out RAM if financially possible and you plan on using the device for more than just a year or two. Storage can be updated later, but that RAM is in there for good. Get as much as you possibly can.

I manually upgraded the RAM from my previous Mac (old all-silver 15 inch MBP). It's quite easy. But is it a delicate process with these new models?

Oh really?
Hey thanks for the info, I was about to make a huge mistake, thinking I could upgrade it later.
