Hi all,
Just purchased a WD 10,000 RPM 150GB Raptor for my new Mac Pro. I want to use it as the boot drive and want to know how to get the most performance out of it (not RAID, can't afford 2 right now).
I was thinking I could partition it and just have my OS install on one partition, but I don't know what size to make it. I would like to use the rest of the Raptor for my core programs/photos and then use my other hard drive for everything else.
Anyone have any insight on the best setup for performance?
Thanks.
