Need advice: iPhoto to iPad/iPhone

I have been using iPhoto for some time and notice now that many (though not all) of my iPhotos have come down to my iPad and iPhone 4 unedited - yet transfer over to my Apple TV and to Mobile Me edited properly. Any ideas???
