Need advice : New 15 inch ($2500) MBP of MBA

I am currently in a delema. I don't know which to get. I was a PC gamer, but now that I have a 360, I don't need an Alienware any more. I do use Maya occasionally, but not the advanced features. I also use CS3 (and CS4 when it will comeout). Will Maya/CS3 Master Collection work on a Mac Book Air? RSVP...

Don't expect Maya to work on an MBA for sure. The MBA is a fine email/Internet/M$ Office machine. It can do PS, etc, but not particularly fast. I don't think the MBA is for you, honestly. You seem more of a candidate for a MBP 2.8 + 4GB RAM + 7200RPM drive.
