I am looking for some way to remove DRM from video and audio files. I am not looking to steal or share. Rather, it would be nice to be free from being restricted to using Apple products.
I found some software that will convert audio files using a virtual CD technology. But, I've yet to find something I'm comfortable using for video files. I found doubleTwist by searching through these forums, but that software seems not appropriate for me (like I said, I'm not interested in sharing and am not looking to take a moral position on the DRM issue).
Basically, what I want to be able to do is to build a robust back-end infrastructure using Linux, including streaming from one of the available DAAP servers available to Linux.
I would appreciate any recommendations on available software (doesn't have to be free, and can run on any one of Mac, Windows or Linux) or methodology.
Thanks,
EVP
