Prior to iOS 8, my wife and I used the same Apple ID so that we could have a unified Photostream (which automatically synced to iPhoto on our Mac) and share app purchases
Now with Family Sharing in iOS 8, if we use separate Apple IDs, we end up with separate Photostreams (the 'Family' one is not automatic, you can only share manually), only one of which can automatically be imported into iPhoto on our Mac. Also Find Friends is now automatically linked to the main Apple ID (there seems to be no way to log in with a different ID), so we can only one of us can share our location at any given time through Find Friends.
Has anyone figured out a way to achieve the following?
- Separate Apple IDs for my wife and I (including to allow for separate 'identities' on Find Friends)
- Unified Photostream that my wife and I can both automatically view on our devices (and photos from both our devices automatically imported into iPhoto on our Mac)
- Shared Reminders and Calendar
- Shared app purchases
