Ill Mostly use this card to capture off Direct tv HD i really dont wanna spend over 200 but i will if needed please helps me out yall.

If you want to capture HD, you're budget of $200 needs to be stretched a little. The blackmagic card (linked above) seems to be the popular option, though I don't know much about it. I think that runs around $350 on the Apple website, but I believe it's cheaper elsewhere.

There May Be A Way With EyeTV Toast & Handbrake

The EyeTV Hybrid can capture your analog output to digital. Is there an ethernet connector on your DirecTV HD recorder? You may be able to copy and convert the HD recordings with Toast and Handbrake.
