i have a peforma 6360 with :apple:system 7.5 and want a web browser
i burnt a cd with windows vista with a netscape and a mac installer
but it not reading:( plz help

It might have burnt the cd as HFS (not HFS+ or as a data CD). Have you tried to see if it reads on a newer Mac?

i dont have a newer mac
and i burnt it as UDF 2.5 (i think)

Whilst I can't recommend running a browser on 7.5.x, burn your CD as ISO 9660. The 7.5 system should be able to read that. CD (650MB) only.

:)

EDIT: Don't use the Joliet extended system either. Make sure all files are 8 characters plus a 3 character extension only.

Ok.... just un-click the Joliet checkbox. All other settings look fine.

Interesting that you could burn HFS (mac specific format). You could try that.

Don't use HFS+ because you need a minimum of MacOS 8.1 to read it.
