Hi, I was looking to get one of iPhone 3G 8GB from ebay, and found good

deal. It was factory sealed and about $650. He says activation will be no problem which is my main concern, of course and said my pay as you go sim
would work right away.

I asked more and he sent me private email saying..well I will not post

our private messages but this is the method he gave me

1. Take out the inactive SIM included in the package and replace it with a gophone SIM of your own.
2. Take the phone and plug it into iTunes for the first time.
3. iTunes recognizes your phone and your phone is ready to be used.

and it is good to go.

Remember it's factory seaeld iPhone 3G 8GB and how did he get one for
brand new not even unlocked and I can activate so easily?

Please any advice is welcome!

i dont know how anyone could get one factory sealed. i would be very weary.

why dont you just go pay 199 for one, sign up for an att contract then pay the etf after the 30 days. it would be about the same amount of money.

The 8 GB is 199.99 and i think to cancel the ATT contract is 175.00 if im not mistaken. So 199.99+175.00= 374.99 for an 8GB Iphone.

Its more than that, but i would rather do the above than rely on a strangers trust. Besides, max I am willing to risk on ebay is $300.
