Hi,

Ive decided to move from a samsung notebook to a macbook air 2011, 128gb.

If I open up itunes on the new MBA and authorize it and hook up my iphone 4 will it recognise the apps ive downloaded.

My set up was not usual for music.
I decided to keep my music in a seperate windown folder and just chose that folder when syncing new music to itunes and my iphone and ipod touch.ie i chose under the settings for my itunes to look for music only in that windows folder i named as , my music.

Hence I have all my music backed up onto a stick which I can just transfer to the MBA, i think ?

You can transfer all the apps over to the new macbook air onto a USB stick just drag them from iTunes to wherever you want them to go.
