I need some advice from someone. I'm looking to replace my Macbook MA699LL/A
I'm of course looking on ebay and don't want to spend more than $400-500 as I don't really have the money to plus I've seen the prices drop as of late. I'm looking at two models. I really just need a device that can run Yosemite and I can manage my website on.
I'm looking at MC240LL/A White Macbook which is $229 or a 2011 Macbook Air for $500. What scares me is not being able to change the battery in the Air. I know in the White Macbook I can change the battery, upgrade the Ram and put in an SSD. But my fear is not getting OS X 10.11?

Any advice...

My advice to you is do not get anything pre 2012 but if you must get something that old i say go for the macbook air the macbook will most likely not be supported any long its 6 year old technology my advice is if you can afford $600 you could possibly get your self something 2012/2013 which will last much longer

I ended up getting a good deal on a 2012 13 inch Macbook Air, only paid $500... Talked seller down to $500 from $600
