I believe you mean an iBook G3. The 1998 version is the colored version, known as the "clamshell" series.
Craigslist, eBay, or Goodwill (online store) are good places to look. Head over to our PPC subform (referring to the older G3, G4, and G5 PowerPC processor series macs) for some great resources and friendly members. Someone over there might be able to hook you up.
The Clamshell iBooks are hard to find and some people (especially on eBay) want a lot of money for them.
