Hello Everyone,

I believe, It is time to change the computer. I have mid 11, 2,5 GHZ i5 8gb ram Mac mini. I haven’t decided which Mac should I change with. I decided to get some advice.

I am M.D I deal with patient datas. I use matlab in order to do that. With current Mac, with 85 patient datas, I can’t even use numbers properly in every 10 seconds computer freezes for a short time. I am aiming more than 500 patients.

I use iPad for portability, but iPad dramatically fails when writing for big projects appear. Especially you are nowhere close to a computer. ( for example, creating reference parts for document) So, I decided to go with a laptop.

I believe you can upgrade your Rams, and hard disc after purchasing a laptop. Only graphics and processor cannot be upgraded later on. Graphics can be upgraded, I believe with eGPU later if necessary(Sometimes I play games).I may increase the processor and decrease the Graphics and harddisc. Keeping ram on 16-32 gb range.

There are rumors that mbPRoO16inch will come up. I may wait for that in order to decide. I do not want to buy a computer just to see new ones coming 1 month later. I open to your suggestions.

Thank you
