Need advice

Hello,

I keep looking at both the MBPRO and the MBAIR. I am really not sure which computer to go with. I don't do any heavy computing - just working remotely from home, Word documents, pictures, and very light video. I guess my question is, what is the IDEAL MBA user? Would this suit me just fine, or would I be better going with a Pro for some reason?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The new M1 MBA and MBP 13" are so similar that really the only difference performance wise will be if you are doing a task that consumes all CPU cores for > 8 minutes consecutively, then the active cooling in the Pro will provide better sustained performance after that time.

Otherwise the 100 nits brightness is very negligible, webcams are identical, speakers and mic are slightly better on the Pro but not by a significant margin.
