need advice!

I'm thinking of buying the DXG 595 camera. Is it Mac Compatible. If not, can it be without costing an arma and a leg?

Since its video format is MOV, you shouldn't have any problem at all.

It records using the h.264 codec, so if you need to edit, the files will have to first be converted to an editing format. The software included with the camera is Windows only. Will it work with a Mac? Maybe .. if you have pateince and don't mind the extra time needed to convert the files for editing.

Hi D H and atlanticza- I plan to edit the work using Final Cut. Should I convert clips into Visual Hub or should I just run it direct into Final Cut? Thanks for the replies!
