Hi..I just bought a sony camera SR10E and i have a mac book pro...i would like to transfer the footages into my mac how can i do that...as it is using usb cable...so i have not idea whether it can be use together with mac or not...pls i need advice on using sr10E together with mac

Have you actually tried it?

Does the camera have a USB mass storage setting?

i try using the final cut...after i plug in the USB then i open the final cut...it says no video deck detached...is there any settings that i have to change in order to capture the footages into final cut

Try using firewire, it should hook up to your camera on it's iLink port and then firewire 400 to your computer. Most camera USB ports are just for transferring still pictures you take on the camera, USB is too slow for video in most cases.

where can i locate the iLink port at the SR10E camera...plus the set only provide the USB cable...they din have the firewire cable
