need advise on replacements (iphone)

ive had my iphone since december
since i updated to 1.1.3 my phone calls drop n it sounds terrible when i have a call so isit possible to swap it under warenty at the o2 shop
if so wot do i take the recipt?

any advise ??
also what happens if i get a new one and the screen is worse n the calls are better i dont want a bad screen can i replace it then the screen i got is good atm but call quality is a all time low :|

advise asap would be appricated
