the mac mini, power g4 10, wont download any internet software except the dvd softwares.... help me to resolve this.

We need more information so we can better help you. What OS are you using? What browser are you using? Firefox, Safari? What are you downloading, and is it giving an error or something?

the os is mac osx tiger 10.4.11, using safari broswer to download the window live msgr application that said it cant be opened and it didnt exist .....

What www location are you downloading from and where are you looking for the downloaded package?

That's the windows version, you need the Mac version: http://www.microsoft.com/Mac/products/messenger/default.mspx

You can't use the Windows version unless you plan to run Windows in a virtual environment or Boot Camp. Download the Mac version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/messenger/default.mspx
Note, due to M$ obviously not being interested in providing up to date quality Mac software, this version still has no A/V and off line messaging for personal accounts.
The OP can't run Windows in a virtual environment or Boot Camp (unless Virtual PC), they have a G4.
