Hello everyone,

I had a question. I currently purchased a 13" MacBook Pro (3.1ghz, 512hd) and am considering returning it to get the 3.5ghz, 16mg ram, 1 tb, version. I've came to the conclusion that I need a 1tb of storage, this is a non discussion. But are the ram and processor upgrade worth it? I'd like to hear your opinions...

You will likely see no improvement in day-to-day tasks with the processor upgrade from base; my advice would be to save your money on that. The RAM will depend largely on what you intend to do with the machine... are you a heave multi-tasker or work with very large data libraries?

Both, there is music and other content creation, but the aim was more for portability hence the 13" inch. I understand the capability behind the machine. Ive been working with it for a while. The specs on it now are ok, definitely better than the base processor, but I'm not sure if another bump is worthwhile. I am leaning to getting the 16gb of ram as well, as applications are getting a little ram hungry...Mutli tasking is life!
