Can anyone suggest an affordable external hard drive that will work seemlessly with a white macbook/mac mini?

Im willing to spend in the $100 range or a little more.

I basically just need it to back up pics/videos...... but am computer illiterate.... and want easy transfer and reliable storage.

Having so much trouble reading through reviews trying to find something.

Thanks in advance.

any hard drive should work for a Mac, just have to format it with the correct file system. Most probably come formatted in FAT, which works on the mac fine, but you can use Disk Utilities to easy change it.

Anyways, i would just go to newegg.com's external hard drive section, sort by most reviews, and pick the one that best fits your needs.
