Need all the advice i can get

So heres the deal, I need a mac (I'm a musician). I cant decide between a macbook or 15inch pro. I will be running Logic on the mac. I hear complaints about the size of the 13inch screen on the macbook when it comes to logic.


Need all your input...I am chronically indecisive

Go Pro. The screen real estate will be a great benefit when it comes to editing waveforms. Hell, I'd even say wait some time and get the 17" if and when it moves to the new style... or get the current old style.

Agreed. Go with the new 15" Pro or save some cash with an older 15" Pro from earlier this year.

Go Pro if you can afford it or get the plastic MacBook because you may need FireWire for an audio interface at some point. Pretty much get anything but the aluminum MacBook because its the only unit w/o it.

If you can afford the base pro model go for that. The bigger screen and firewire is worth it.

Agree. Go with the Pro. If you want to save funds, you can get the recently discontinued model.

Reasons for the MBP over the MB:
- FW800
- Dedicated video card
- Larger screen
- Matte screen option (if you go with the prior model.)
