need an external DVD burner

my macbook makes a very loud sound when I burn DVD's on toast - am a bit concerned its doing my computer no good so I'm thinking I should get an external DVD burner.. but which one? I'm about to work on a huge 2 month job that will require me to burn discs everyday [I am a photographer]: - I need to be assured i can get through the job without any failings..

...you can usually get it for less from www.newegg.com - same model...

I have this Samsung burner in this Vantec enclosure, about $65.

In that case, you should buy two of them.
