I got my new 16 GB ipad:apple: or christmas, but I'm a junior in high school & I'm only getting a mac for my graduation so should I return it and get the money since it costs money to even type documents, and there's no flash player? I'm not really sure

Need people's input

At your age, the iPad is more a novelty than a necessity.

Hell, at MY age, its more a novelty than a necessity. :D

It's a possibility that I'd use the $ from the ipad for the new itouch so i'm really not sure ):

No way I'd trade mine for a touch. No way I'd consider mine a novelty, don't know what I'd do without mine.

I would return it as iPad 2 is out soon and will be better obviously. Buy that then wait for your mac at graduation.

Also skip the touchnas you will like the ipad much better. It can basically do everything bigger and better.

return it and buy an ipad 2 since we're pretty much 1 month from announcement and 3 months from getting it

I really don't think they will announce it before it's ready to ship. They will do like the Air and others, available now. (Now meaning when they announce it).

Oh, keep it. It is a gift. Enjoy it. Don't worry about the stupid camera that may (okay will) be on version 2.
