Need an iSight

Have 2 cinema displays, and a powermac g5 i wnt to be able to use photobooth and ichat video, i heard the i sight has been discountinued so what shall i do??

dnt really wanna get dwn with anything that isnt mac either lol

and btw is the original isight better than the ones in the macbooks and imacs??

The external obne is easier to position if you are doing anything else besides face to face chats.

Picture quality wise I can't tell a difference.

Note, however, that if you want to buy an iSight, you'll be spending a minimum of $150 for a used one, $280-300 for a new one.

The market is crazy for them b/c they're discontinued...

Both are the same unless you look real close. The picture is a little bit more squarish in the corners and sides for the external iSight. The built in iSights have more rounded images in the corners/sides.

But both are good. And the built in one is very convenient to carry since you don't need a cable or stand/holder.
