Need App to measure distance like Google Earth Desktop

I need an app to measure distances in miles and km across our county. I do it with Google Earth on the Mac, but I'd like to be able to do it in the field with the iPad. The iPad Google Earth app does not have this feature.

We use it for path calculations for point to point wireless infrastructure.
